Manufacturers will present their businesses and job openings\, and students will deliver their “elevator pitch”. \nJoin MACC/DC at a meet and greet opportunity at Delaware County Community College’s Advanced Technology Center. Meet soon-to-be graduates of a 225-hour hands-on Weld Certificate Program that prepares students for entry-level welding positions. \nStudents are expected to earn their certificates in September 2025. We will learn about the program\, the students\, and educators. Perhaps you’ll meet a future employee! \nDCCC’s Welding Certificate Program delivers an introduction to welding and training in oxyfuel cutting\, shielded metal arc welding\, gas metal arc welding\, blueprint reading and basic fabrication. These skills are in high demand and will prepare students for entry-level welding positions. The program is tuition-free through Philadelphia Good Works Job Challenge. \nThe training curriculum for welders and was prepared by Delaware County Community College using Federal funds under award ED22HDQ3070127 from the Economic Development Administration\, U.S. Department of Commerce.
